New advancement

We now have our first little prototype; the mechanics are still basic, and the game still needs a lot of work, but it is exciting for us to finally start to see the project in physical form.

We did a small round of testing, and the opinions are more or less as follows:

  • It needs to have the camera further away from the player; it is too close to the player.
  • The movement can improve a lot.
  • The core mechanic is really fun.
  • The colliders are kind of big.
  • The game has a lot of potential.

We are taking these comments with joy; we know we need to improve all these things, but in general, other than those comments, the response has been positive. People seemed excited by the concept of the game and the improvements we plan to implement.

So far, the prototype is just the very core mechanics of moving, dying, and respawning, but in the near future, the next steps are to implement the mechanics for different kinds of deaths and a timer.

We encourage you to please try our super early first prototype and tell us what you think of it. If you see any problems, things you consider we need to improve, or what you think of the concept, etc., it is all helpful to us. We want to know what the public thinks so we can improve even more and make something fun and with quality.
